Trevor V. Nazario, 24, of Las Cruces, NM passed away November 23, 2014. He was born August 5, 1990 in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia but spent most of his life in New Mexico, the majority in Las Cruces. Trevor was an actor, model, barista at Starbucks, and an amazing improv comic. He was incredibly witty and enjoyed entertaining friends and family. Trevor was involved in SGDRC and served as President of Stonewall QSA at NMSU. Trevor was the first recipient of the Lavender Stole, which is a student and faculty nominated award for making a difference in the LGBTQ community. He was also awarded a scholarship from PFLAG enabling him to continue studying performing arts at NMSU. He has been in theater since middle school and performed in numerous plays, including Dog Sees God, Little Shop of Horrors, and Our Town. He was also a talented artist who enjoyed painting. He got his hula-hooping skills from his Ganmommy even winning a hula-hoop contest. He was an avid board and card game player who always had time to play with his siblings, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Trevor was instantly loved by everyone who met him and was kind hearted, considerate, compassionate, and loving. Trevor is survived by his mother, Sheryl Reynolds and stepfather, Robert, Las Cruces; father Manuel Nazario and wife Mary, Franklin, PA; siblings, Brandon Nazario and wife Melissa, Okinawa, Japan, Ariana Nazario, Logan Nazario, Ali Reynolds, Kyle Reynolds, Roberts Reynolds, Jr. and wife Tawni, Daniel Reynolds and wife Micah, Bree Reynolds, all of Las Cruces, and Britney Reynolds, Woodridge, Washington; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins with special love to the Sanders. Memorial services will be held at the NMSU Center for the Arts, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29th. The family requests your presence for food and shared memories immediately afterwards. The Red Cross made it possible for his brother and family to be here from Okinawa during this time of need. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations via www.redcross.org, Stonewall QSA, or charity of your choice.
