Mrs. Vada Hart, 95, passed away peacefully at her home in Las Cruces on Wednesday, July 9th, 2008. Vada and Leon Hart were married in Oklahoma in 1930 and they had been residents of Las Cruces since 1950. She had worked as a saleslady at Dunlap's Department Store her in Las Cruces and she and her husband Leon, were members of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Leon and Vada had als...
Mrs. Vada Hart, 95, passed away peacefully at her home in Las Cruces on Wednesday, July 9th, 2008. Vada and Leon Hart were married in Oklahoma in 1930 and they had been residents of Las Cruces since 1950. She had worked as a saleslady at Dunlap's Department Store her in Las Cruces and she and her husband Leon, were members of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Leon and Vada had also traveled frequently with the local Airstream Club. She is predeceased by her husband, Leon Hart, her parents and 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Mike Hart and his wife Lois of Las Cruces and their son Justin and LaTisha Jacobs of Phoenix, AZ. Her niece, Linda Ruebeck and husband Chris of Sherman, TX and her nephew, Bill Hall and wife Barbara of Collinsville, TX. She is also survived by her devoted caregivers Joy, Bertha, Julia, Irene, Anita, Maribel and Linda. Honorary pallbearers are: Jerry Anderson, Johnny Coble, Jim Erickson, Jerry Fariss, Gene Golden, Bob McNiel and Johnny Russell. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 14th at 10:30 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Chaplain Frank Zamora of Mesilla Valley Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family request's that donations be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, 299 Montana Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88005. PDF Printable Version
