Valerie G. Azure, went to be with our Father in Heaven. Her calling came on Dec. 17, 2008. She was born August 31, 1957. Valerie will be deeply missed by all her family and many friends who knew and loved her. Valerie is survived by her mother, Marie Bernadette Garcia; brothers David W., Christopher and Robert D. Azure all of Las Cruces; one sister Victoria A. Soto of Socorro, NM. Also surviving her are many nieces, nephews, friends as well as her partner in life Benjamin Acosta. Valerie is preceded in death by her father Fredrick Azure and by a sister Vanessa Azure of Albuquerque, NM. A memorial mass to celebrate her life will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church with the Augustinian Recollects officiating. PDF Printable Version
