Virgil Lee Graves, 83, of Las Cruces and formerly of Simla, CO. died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005. He was born June 15, 1922 in Kerens, TX. Virgil Lee served his country honorably in the US Army Air Corp and was an avid horseman. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. Virgil Lee is survived by his children; Lee Ann Brickson of Las Cruces, NM, Mary Schlagel and husband David of Forest Lake, MN, Jim Graves and wife Mary of Summerdale, AL, Katey Marks and husband John of Knox, IN, and Teresa Christianson and husband Bob of Hudson, WI; 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; brothers Billy Bob Graves and wife Rosemary of Tyler, TX, and Robbie Gene Graves and wife Jean of Sunset, TX; sister La Marylis Gilson and husband Bob of Arlington, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Zella Graves. Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Kerens, Texas.
