Virginia was born in Fowler, CO on July 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Aurelia Mary Flores and Pedro Flores. She attended school in Manzanola, CO. She was the widow of Felix S. Castro. Virginia Castro, 86 of El Paso, TX, passed away Saturday, February 18. 2017 peacefully at her residence. Virginia was born in Fowler, CO on July 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Aurelia Mary Flores and Pedro Flores. She attended school in Manzanola, CO. She was the widow of Felix S. Castro. They were married in the late 40's. She devoted her time to her husband and children. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and making jewelry. She was also a great creative cook. Virginia was survived by: Son Robert Castro of Dona Ana, NM; daughter Louise Castro of El Paso, TX; daughter Carol Sanchez of Las Cruces, NM; Grand-son Teddy Sanchez, Grand-daughter Tracy Sanchez; Great-grand daughter Tristan Sanchez; Great-grand son Taige Sanchez; Brother Richard, husband of Hortensia Flores, of Manzanola, CO; Sister Lillian Aragon of Pueblo, CO; Brother Raymond, husband of Lori Flores, of Manzanola, CO; Sister Delphinia True , of Greely, CO; Sister Cecilia, wife of Louie Herrera, of Rockyford, CO; Brother Jerry, husband of Ana Mae Flores, of Fountain, CO; Brother John, husband of Barbara Baca, of Pueblo, CO. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, sister Nellie Valdez, brother Joe Flores, Sam Flores, Danny Florez and Pete Flores.
