Virginia Dale Antresian

V. Dale Antreasian, was born June 11, 1947 and went to play with the angels on May 26, 2014. Her final conscious moments were in her home on May 20th though she was pronounced deceased at Mountain View Regional Medical Center on the 26th. She was born to Ralph and Virginia Fleming in Compton, California. She is survived by her grandson, Josiah Jacob Archuleta, her son, Jaxon Archuleta, Brothers Paul Fleming and Raymond Fuller, and Sister Carolyn. She is also survived by her long time companion Clyde Hudson, and a host of many good friends. Throughout the years she was a very active member of the Hatch and Rincon communities. Dale moved to the Hatch and Rincon areas in 1982 with her boyfriend at the time Robert Archuleta. She started working for the Rincon Water CoOp over 17 years ago and has since then established a legacy. She obtained many accreditations including water systems level 2, waste water systems level 1, small system of the year in 1992, outstanding operator of the year 1998, water taste test finalist in 2002, miox disinfection equipment training in 2004, many certificates of appreciation, and she served as the president of New Mexico Rural Water Association in 1999. She was on the Northern Dona Ana County Parks and Recreation board for 10 years during which she organized funding and transportation for the youth of the community to the tune of basketball, volleyball, cheer, gymnastics, beach volleyball, t-ball, soft ball, hard ball, soccer and trips to the Dona Ana County Pool. She also chaired the committee for the Hatch Chile Festival Parade for many years, was a friend of the Hatch Valley Library and helped obtain funds for a directory for the valley. She also worked for Dona Ana County Utilities as a Waste Water facility operator. She helped gain funding from grants and loans to improve the community, one of which was a fairly substantial Farmers Home Administration; Community Colonia Grant which replaced a 63 yr old water system already in place. She also worked very hard with other members of the community to obtain other grants and funds to later provide a park and a community center for Rincon. Her community and the people in it were always a top priority in her life; she would actively donate what she could and sometimes paid bills for people in need without mentioning a word. She was an amazing woman with a heart of gold. We the family would like to thank each and every one of you that made an impact or had a conversation with my mom if you knew her she loved to talk. A celebration of life will be held on June 11th, 2014 at 3 o'clock in the Green Chile Room at Sparky's BBQ and Espresso.
