Virginia Beck, 73, of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday June 21, 2007. Virginia was born in Spokane, WA, on October 16, 1933, to Jacob and Ethel Beck. Virginia, better known as "Ma", was the neighborhood mom. All the kids in the neighborhood were always welcome to come down to Ma's house and play. She often received phone calls, from parents, asking to send the children home for dinner....
Virginia Beck, 73, of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday June 21, 2007. Virginia was born in Spokane, WA, on October 16, 1933, to Jacob and Ethel Beck. Virginia, better known as "Ma", was the neighborhood mom. All the kids in the neighborhood were always welcome to come down to Ma's house and play. She often received phone calls, from parents, asking to send the children home for dinner. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Ma is survived by three sons; Thomas Roggenbuck, of Las Cruces, NM, John Roggenbuck, of Motley, MN, Joseph Roggenbuck, of Buena Park, CA four daughters; Barbara Roggenbuck, of Thief River Falls, MN, Theresa Clayton, of Gadsden, AL, Joan Nelson, of Owatonna, MN, Diane Molstad, of Thief River Falls, MN, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
