VIVIAN SKRAMSTAD 08-01-1928 - 05-13-2022 Vivian Skramstad passed away peacefully at the home of her son on May 13, 2022. Vivian was born in Enderlin on August 1, 1928 to Chris and Martha Wallner. She graduated from Enderlin High School in 1946. On May 18, 1947 Vivian married Merlin Skramstad (married for 67 years) in Enderlin where they raised their two children. The couple worked long and hard hours over the years while owning and operating Merlin's Leather Goods. After retiring, Merlin and Vivian moved to Apache Junction Arizona, but spent their summers in Enderlin for many years. Vivian was a member of the VFW and the Women's Circle of First Lutheran Church. She dearly loved her family and friends and enjoyed playing cards, reading, bowling, golf, and especially Bingo. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; husband Merlin; her siblings Alice, Evelyn, Doris, Jerry, Kenny, and Wilbert; her son-in-law Arvid (Swede); and grandson Jeremy. Surviving Vivian are her son David Skramstad and wife Robyn; daughter Laura Berglund; sister Vonnie Cowden; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. No services are scheduled at this time. A memorial will be planned at a later date. The family asks that your memories include Vivian's favorite scripture the 23rd Psalm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11:00 am at Getz Funeral Home Chapel.
