Wilma (Kitty) Walters, 74, joined our Heavenly Father on September 16, 2015, in Las Cruces, NM. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on March 15, 1941. She lived most of her 74 years in Las Cruces. Kitty was part of the BPO Elks women's auxiliary, Does. Kitty is survived by her spouse of 44 years, Nazario L. Walters of Las Cruces, her children: Tamorah and Jaime Hernandez of San Antonio TX; Edward and Maria Brown of Littleton CO; and Trina Walters of New Orleans LA. Grandchildren: Christopher Brown, Megan Graham, Amanda Brown, Ryan Carrillo, and Kelsey Melendez. Great Grandchildren: Alexi Brown, Amber Carrillo, Isaiah Carrillo, Kaia Graham, Marley Graham, Emma Cote, and Abel Privette. She is survived by her Aunt and Uncle, Billie and Chuck Cannon of Colorado Springs CO. She is also survived by her caregiver, Estevan Carmona Mancha. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Abernathy and sons, Jimmy Brown, and Randall Walters. Visitation for Wilma will be Thursday September 24, 2015 from 9-10 am at St. Genevieve's' Catholic Church 100 S. Espina. A prayer vigil and funeral services are scheduled at 10 am, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
