Wayne A. Wallace, 89, of Las Cruces, NM passed away May 24, 2015 after a sudden and brief illness. He was a respected automobile dealer for General Motors for over 50 years with dealerships in Texas and New Mexico. He was the owner of Wallace Chevrolet in Las Cruces for 25 years. Wayne A. Wallace, 89, of Las Cruces, NM passed away May 24, 2015 after a sudden and brief illness. He was a respected automobile dealer for General Motors for over 50 years with dealerships in Texas and New Mexico. He was the owner of Wallace Chevrolet in Las Cruces for 25 years. Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Margaret Wallace. He is survived by a daughter, Karen Wallace Moore (Steve) of Tulsa, OK; son Ron J. Wallace (Tina) of El Paso, TX and son Joel W. Wallace of Palm Springs, CA. He is also survived by a sister, Marcine Volder of Yorba Linda, CA; and a brother, Ralph Wallace (Hazel) of Irving, TX; three grandsons; a great granddaughter and numerous nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranches, Inc., 6209 Hendrix NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the City of Lubbock Cemetery in Lubbock, TX. Both Wayne and Margaret's cremains will be inurned in the family plot.
