Wilford L. Cruzan, 88, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012. He was born Jan. 10, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Jacob and Eda Cruzan. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp where he served our country honorably. Wilford L. Cruzan, 88, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012. He was born Jan. 10, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Jacob and Eda Cruzan. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp where he served our country honorably. He was also a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed the outdoors, skiing, flying and running marathons but his passion was for family and friends. Wilford will be deeply missed by all who kne4w and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Elinor of the family home; brother Robert Alan Cruzan and wife Grace Ann of Port Angeles, WA. and by his grandson Alan Michael Cruzan and many friends. He was preceded in death by his son Lawrence. Memorial Services to celebrate his life will be at 1 PM on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Maurice Hollingsworth officiating.
