William A. Barncastle, 87, of T or C, NM died Wednesday, April 27, 2005. He was born April 22, 1918 in Las Cruces to Frank and Mae Armijo Barncastle. William was a veteran of the US Army where he served his country honorably during WW II and was a highly decorated Sgt who earned numerous awards, medal and ribbons. William A. Barncastle, 87, of T or C, NM died Wednesday, April 27, 2005. He was born April 22, 1918 in Las Cruces to Frank and Mae Armijo Barncastle. William was a veteran of the US Army where he served his country honorably during WW II and was a highly decorated Sgt who earned numerous awards, medal and ribbons. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his two sisters Florence Barncastle and Corine Benavidez both of Las Cruces and my his nieces and nephews. A prayer vigil will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at St.Genevieve's Catholic Church where the funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM with Fr. Juan Moreno officiating. Rite of Committal will be on Tuesday also at 2:00 PM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with military honors. PDF Printable Version
