William A. Horne, 78 of Las Cruces, NM died Friday January 1, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1931 in Cordele, GA to Elton and Sue Horne. He served his country in the United States Army. William was a very hard worker throughout his life, and could not wait to see the smile on his customer's faces after selling them a new car. William A. Horne, 78 of Las Cruces, NM died Friday January 1, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1931 in Cordele, GA to Elton and Sue Horne. He served his country in the United States Army. William was a very hard worker throughout his life, and could not wait to see the smile on his customer's faces after selling them a new car. He will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him, especially the love of his life and wife for 53 years Hildegard Horne. He is survived by his wife of the family home, one son, Chris Horne and wife Kathy of McHenry, IL; one daughter, Vivian Horne of Woodlands, TX; one brother Roy Horne of Smyrna, GA. He is also survived by on granddaughter Kimberly Horne. There will be a gathering of friends and family that will be held from 5-7 P.M. Friday January 8, 2010 at Getz Funeral Home.
