Eternal Impact! William D. Davis, 59, of Las Cruces, NM left this world too soon on October 23, 2022. "Bill Dan" was born in Tularosa, NM to Thomas and Marjorie Wilma Davis on March 29, 1963, and he hit the ground looking for adventure. Those who knew him best could find him on a bicycle, motorcycle, scuba diving, playing football or watching his Cowboys. He relished coaching soccer, photography, shooting bows, camping in the mountains, hiking, or relaxing on the beach. Bill combined his love for canines and country by training canines in explosive detecting and narcotic search for the Air Force. In his first base, he was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in a swimming pool in Kunsan, Korea and was on fire testifying as a stake missionary thereafter. In the AF he served in California, Georgia and in Operation Just Cause in Panama. He found his passion for the medical field, thereafter, saving lives as a Nurse. Bill willingly put himself at the front lines serving as a traveling nurse at the onset of COVID in 2020. He is survived by his dear wife of fifteen years, Cristina Davis, his children Daughter, Tiffany Daumueller (Andrew), Daughter, Crystal Davis, Son, Thomas Davis, and Daughter, Kira Cardon. He is survived by 11 beloved grandchildren (Nathan, Celeste, Savannah, Brooklynn, Alyssa, Paige, Ashton, Laylah, David, Max, and Wolf). He is also leaving behind Brother, Bodie Davis, Sister, Cristi Davis, Parent In-Laws, Brian and Debbie Abraham, Brother In-Law, Brian Abraham, Jr. and several beloved extended family members and friends. He will be missed for his incredible humor and unbending willingness to put others before himself. He was truly a man who left an impact of love wherever he went. He was one with generosity beyond belief, whether it was to bring a smile to a sad face, an unexpected, needed gift, forgiveness in an instant or caring for the sick. He loved his family more than life itself. You were not only my best friend, but my rock and dear husband that I will so dearly miss forever. I will see you on the other side. So many love you, and I love you forever Bill Dan.
