William H. Paul, 70, of Las Cruces, NM passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. He was born on April 3, 1939 in Hambden, Ohio. He married the love of his life Josephine Gutierrez on April 8, 1961. Bill served honorably in the US Navy for 22 years, including three tours in Vietnam as a Weapons Officer, retiring from active duty in 1977 as a Master Chief...
William H. Paul, 70, of Las Cruces, NM passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. He was born on April 3, 1939 in Hambden, Ohio. He married the love of his life Josephine Gutierrez on April 8, 1961. Bill served honorably in the US Navy for 22 years, including three tours in Vietnam as a Weapons Officer, retiring from active duty in 1977 as a Master Chief. A resident of Las Cruces since 1960, he worked in various technical professions until his retirement from White Sands Missile Range in 2001. Bill is survived by his wife of 48 years, Josephine; his sister Roseanne Hinske of Willoughby, Ohio; his brother John Paul and wife, Harumi, of Santa Ana, California; sons William Paul Jr., and wife, Amy; Thomas Paul; Vincent Paul and wife, Amy; Francis Paul and wife, Debbie; Gerald Paul; Randolph Paul and wife, Missy; and Christian Paul and wife, Patricia; grandchildren Stefanie Moss, Scott Paul, Jacqueline Paul, Whitney Morris, Sydney Paul, Celia Paul, Manuel Paul, Vasili Paul, Vincent Paul, Guillermo Paul, Genevieve Paul, and Juliette Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Scott and Ethel Gatton Paul, and his granddaughter, Trinity Emmanuel. A visitation shall be on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m., with the Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 20 at 2 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be William Paul II, Thomas, Vincent, Gerald, Tony Avalos, and John Barela. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Paul, Randy Paul and Chris Paul. PDF Printable Version
