William S. Hall, 79, of White Sands Missile Range, died Saturday, March 24, 2007. He was born July 5, 1927 in Ancon, Canal Zone to William B. Hall and Mary Alice Spencer. William was a retired Senior Lock Master after many years of service from the Panama Canal Commission. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of a Hi-Power Rifle Team and a lifetime member of the NRA. He was a member of the Balboa High School Band where he played solo trumpet and was on the Red, White and Blue Troop Swim Team and graduated from the Balboa, Canal Zone High School. William was a 32nd Degree in good standing with the Ancon Masonic Lodge, A.F.&A.M, Balboa, Canal Zone and a 50 year Scottish Rite member of the Valley of Balboa, Orient of Panama Canal. Mr. Hall will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his two sons William (Bill) Hall and wife Melanie of White Sands Missile Range and Douglas Hall and wife Brenda of Orange Park, FL; daughter Penny Lou Hall of Las Cruces; brother Richard Hall and wife Ruth of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren Bridget, Adriana, Freeland, Hunter, Meghan and Madison and by his great-granddaughter Alexis. William was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Lou Hall. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the White Sands Missile Range Post Chapel where funeral services to celebrate his life will follow at 10:00 AM with Rev. Karen Brandon officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL at a later date. PDF Printable Version
