Willie A. 'J.R.' Williams

Willie A. Williams, 81, of Fairacres, NM died Sunday, May 6, 2012. J.R. as he was fondly known was born September 26, 1930 in Antlers, OK to Willie and Vigie Williams Sr. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served our country honorably and was also retired from Burn Construction after many years of faithful service. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and had been an outfitter, fishing and working on the family ranch, but his passion was for his family. J.R. will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Gloria Williams of the family home; daughter Sharon Boling of Fairacres, NM; brother Eddie Williams and wife Geneva of Union, OR; sisters Shirley Hayes and husband Ben of Baker, OR, Gladys Garrison and husband Stan of Washougal, WA, Jewel DeLong and husband Bill of Vail OR and Bonnie Puckett and husband Dave of Prineville, OR. J. R. was preceded in death by his parents, brother Walter and sisters Lola, Lucille, Mae and Lafern. Graveside services to celebrate his life will be at 10 am on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Hatch, NM with Rev. Delton Cantrell officiating.
