Winston Ellis Perrigin, 74, of Las Cruces, NM passed away Friday, February 2, 2018, at The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain, El Paso, TX. Mr. Perrigin was born October 1, 1943, in Ethelsville, AL to the late James Eddie and Jewell D. Ferguson Perrigin. Winston Ellis Perrigin, 74, of Las Cruces, NM passed away Friday, February 2, 2018, at The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain, El Paso, TX. Mr. Perrigin was born October 1, 1943, in Ethelsville, AL to the late James Eddie and Jewell D. Ferguson Perrigin. Mr. Perrigin is survived by his 3 children, Virginia L Ayala (Jose) from Concord NC, Nancy A Perrigin (Ples) from Las Cruces, and Jimmy R Perrigin from Las Cruces, NM. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, Maria, Johnathan (Ana), Jason (Christy), Sean (Bobbi), Amanda (Anthony), Taylor (Christene), Robert, Asa (Courtney), Brittany (Chubz), and Amber. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Perrigin was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Kay Griffin Perrigin; and brothers- James Perrigin, Thomas Perrigin, Jessie Perrigin, Lewie Perrigin, and Joe Perrigin. Mr. Perrigin retired from the Armed Forces after serving 20 years. Mr. Perrigin is a decorated Vietnam Veteran completing 6 campaigns which awarded him numerous medals. He also retired from White Sands Missile Range after 15 years of Civil Service. In his spare time, he enjoyed knife making, archery, and computers. Viewing will be held Friday, Feb 09, 2018, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Getz Funeral Home, Las Cruces, NM.
