IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Allan
Hutcheson
February 4, 1965 – February 4, 2026
Allan Hutcheson went Home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2026, following years of significant health-related complications.
Allan is survived by his wife, Dee; his father, Dr. Radford Hutcheson; his brother, David (Claire); six children; eight grandchildren; and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda, and his mother, Hildreth. In ministry and community settings, Allan was known as a pastor, leader, and advocate, and was often referred to as “Papa Bear.”
Allan was born on February 4, 1956, in Hobbs, New Mexico, and was raised in various parts of the state. He graduated from Deming High School, in 1974, and attended New Mexico State University before completing mortuary school in Dallas, Texas. He worked as a funeral director for more than 20 years before transitioning into pastoral care, becoming a certified grief counselor and advocate. From 2013 to 2017, he served as Associate Pastor at Heart for the World Church. Together with Dee, he also operated Acts 18 Ministries and Compassionate CARE, where he remained Director Emeritus until his passing.
On behalf of Dee, the family, and those connected through Acts 18 Ministries and Compassionate CARE, thank you for your thoughts and prayers. At Allan’s request, no services will be held. Those wishing to honor his memory may do so by doing justice, loving mercy, walking humbly with God, and passing along anything Allan shared that was meaningful in their own faith journey.
