Angela Angel

Mabel Alvarez Angel passed away at home on March 27, 2022 In her words: My name is Mabel Alvarez Angel. I was born in Las Cruces, N.M. to Elfego and Adela Alvarez. I had two sisters, Lela and Peggy Alvarez, four brothers, Elfego, Jr., Tony Alvarez, Bennie and Larry Silva. Bennie is my surviving brother. I was married to Johnny Angel for 64 years. We had 3 children, Lynda Angel Harrison, Johnny Angel, Jr. and Gary Angel who is deceased. We had 5 grandchildren, Tami, Sloan, Lance, Heather and Gary Jr.; 6 great-grandchildren, Jena, Holly, Keaton, Delia, Keira and Nikita and 4 great-great grandchildren; Brylee, Bohden, Banx and P.K. All whom we loved dearly. Johnny and I both loved music and loved to dance. I think we danced all styles, jitterbug, rock & roll, disco and salsa. I've lived a full life. Sometimes good and sometimes not so good but that's life. I am thankful for the health and time God has given me. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 2:00p.m. at Lescombes Winery & Bistro, 1720 Avenida de Mesilla. In lieu of flowers please send donations to High Desert Hospice, 101 N.
