Anna Yvonne Richardson

Anna Yvonne Richardson, 91, passed away March 27, 2025 in Las Cruces, NM. She was born August 6, 1933 in Las Cruces, NM to Rollo Thomas Place and Edith Vesta Berrier. She was a member of St. Paul’s UMC and was very active in Chapel Bells Handbell Choir for many years. While the children were young, she was a loving homemaker. She was known mostly for her talent as a seamstress and assisted many brides in creating their dream wedding gowns and bridesmaids attire. She was also a successful Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant. Later in life, along with two of her children, they began operating Hedgehogs Landscape Maintenance. She loved meeting with customers in their yards and helping them design their dream landscape. She is survived by her son Randy Richardson, son Bill Richardson and wife Karen, daughter Vicki Barrett and husband Scot, grandson Dustin Richardson, and grandaughter Dani (Dylan) Coogler all of Las cruces. She is preceded by her parents, and husband Jack A. Richardson.
