Annabel F. Blair

Annabel F. Blair, 84, passed away on May 15, 2017 in Ruidoso, New Mexico. She was born on May 28, 1932 in Freeport, Maine to Henry and Elizabeth Goldrup. She earned her degree from Fisher College in Boston, Massachusetts. She married Robert E. Dorr in Freeport, Maine, and later married Ken I. Blair on July 3, 1976 in Las Cruces, New Mexico; they remained happily married until her passing. Annabel retired from NMSU, where she held several administrative positions. She was a member of "The Red Hat Society" of Las Cruces and the Las Cruces Community Theatre for many years. She is survived by her husband Ken I. Blair, children, Carola Griffen, Steven Dorr, Susan Hixion, and Peter Dorr. Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings, David, Henry, Karen, and Paul all of Maine. Stepchildren, Michael, Kathy, Patricia, and Theresa. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Annabel is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Goldrup, son, Robbie A. Dorr, sister, Judy Watson, grandson, Stevie A. Dorr, and son in law, Thomas Griffen. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
