Anneliese Caswell

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Anneliese Caswell, 83, passed away on November 27, 2011 at The Village of Northrise. She was born in Mannheim, Germany on January 12, 1928. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Caswell whom she met while he was stationed in Germany. They married and had their only child Shirley. The family got transferred to White Sands Missile Range in NM. Eventually, they settled in Las Cruces, NM. She loved life and to do so many things. She enjoyed camping and traveling in general. She loved to dance. Her favorite hobbies were doing arts and crafts, sewing, and cooking. She was such a caring person filled with unconditional love for everyone around her. She was always around to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She is survived by her daughter Shirley Goins and husband Steve, her two grandchildren Ashley and Melanie, her great granddaughter Analisa whom Ashley named after her, and a best friend Chris Hensley. Anneliese Caswell will always be loved and never ever forgotten. We love you. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Getz Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, December 2, 2011 at 10:00 am at Getz Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Foster from New Life Church officiating. Burial will follow to Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
