Arlene L. Huffmyer

Arlene L. Huffmyer, 84, of Las Cruces, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 6, 2012. She was born May 9, 1927 in Apache, Oklahoma to Charles and Elfie Roberts. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and crossword puzzles, but her passion was for her family. Mrs. Huffmyer will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons Roy Huffmyer and wife Marie and Robert Huffmyer and wife Patricia all of Las Cruces; daughters Kathy Bauer and husband Paul and Karen Fee and husband Manford all of Las Cruces; brothers Wayne Roberts and wife Sheri of Mesa, AZ and C.J. Roberts and wife Merle of Ft. Worth, TX. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Josh, Nick, Beth, Cameron, Colton, Buddy, Jennifer and Will; great-grandchildren Amelia, Kane, Brendan, Justin, Connor and Jenna and by her special friend and companion Snoopy her dog. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Milton, sister Garvene and brothers Varvel, Dyke, Cotton and Cliff. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 am to 12 noon on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Getz Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to a charity of choice. PDF Printable Version
