Barbara May Floyd

Barbara May Floyd entered eternal life on Sunday, December 5, 2010 surrounded by her loved ones. Barbara was born to Joseph M. Luton and Barbara Crittenden on May 1, 1926 in Gillette, Wyoming. In her early 20's she and her mother came to Arizona by bus from Wyoming pulling off layers of clothing the closer they got to Arizona. Barbara worked for Mountain Bell in Douglas, AZ. She met her future husband Les Floyd when her girlfriend talked her into going out on Christmas Eve. 14 days later they married January 7, 1950. Her travels took her to Germany, Arizona, Texas, and finally back to Douglas, AZ for approximately 40 plus years. Barbara was a long standing member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church
