Betty Jo Holt

Betty Stidham Holt was born on April 11, 1926 to James Alexander Stidham and Allie Mantooth Stidham in Electra, Texas. She joined her heavenly Father on January 18, 2012. She was raised near Conroe, Texas and following her marriage and divorce to Joe E. Dean, she remarried and was widowed. After retiring, she volunteered at the Christian Day Nursery Thrift Shop and spent her life serving the Lord by providing companionship and transportation to those in need. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed playing the organ, arranging flowers, watching redbirds, and doing crafts. Betty is survived by her four children: William R. (Ellen) Dean and children, Melanie, Tory, Felischia, and Alexander; Nancy D. Simpson and children, James and Debra; Deanna D. (Gary) Hoxworth and sons Eric and Chris; and Larry (Lynda) Dean and daughter Stacey. She had 31 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Christine and Odessa, baby brother James Alexander, and granddaughter, Shelley. She will be missed by all who knew her. We all rejoice that she is with her creator and has been made whole again. Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be at 2 PM on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at the Village at Northrise with David Moon officiating. PDF Printable Version
