Charles K. Rudolph Jr (Ken) Age 86 of Las Cruces, NM passed away June 20, 2025. He was born in Tarrytown, NY to Charles K. and Margorie F. Rudolph on April 15, 1939. Graduated from Trinity-Pawling Prep School, Pawling NY in 1958 and Hartwick college, Oneonta, NY in 1963 with a B.S Degree in Business Administration after graduation he joined the United States marine corps, Attaining the rank of corporal. His enlistment included a sixteen-month tour in Vietnam with the third marines. He took part in numerous operations seeing extensive combat. His loyalty and pride in the corps remained throughout his lifetime and he always talked about the culture of the corps being like no other. Upon his discharge in late 1966, Mr. Rudolph went to work for general foods corp., a subsidiary of Philip Morris, as a sales and marketing executive. He retired in 1994 and moved to Las Cruces in 1996. Ken openly admired that he was outspoken, candid and opinionated. He was, however, extremely honest, principled and loyal. His word was his bond, and his friendship had depth and meaning. Mr. Rudolph was very open concerning his affiliation with alcoholics anonymous his A.A birthday was July 4, 1986, and he often joked that the entire country celebrated his sobriety, He was an advocate of Long Term, continuous, uninterrupted sobriety and he remained sober until his death. Ken’s Hobbies included woodworking, model building, gardening, antique collecting and travelling in his R.V. His travels included the entire United States, Mexico and Alaska.
He is survived by one brother, Robert and his Wife Marilyn of Churchville, MA, along with their three sons, and his daughter Sara and her four children. Cremation has taken place.
