Christopher Robert Reed

Christopher Robert Reed was born on June 14, 1976, in Morenci, Arizona, and passed away on April 28, 2026, in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Allen Reed.

Christopher is lovingly remembered by his mother, Melanie Jones; his stepmother, Lynne Reed; and his siblings: Alyson (Mark) Nielson, Derek (Lisa) Reed, Cami (Shane) Davis, Sean (Samantha) Smith and Kristen (Grant) Fullerton.

He was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews: Peyton (Skyler), Riley, Avery, TJ, Jacob, Eli, Lanie, Cooper, Jorge, Kennedy, Jennings, and Sebastian. He adored each of them deeply, and his love for his family was one of the defining joys of his life.

Christopher had a remarkable mind and a deep love of learning. An avid reader, he had an incredible ability to retain everything he read. His interests were wide-ranging, with a special passion for military topics, history, science fiction, and imaginative worlds—from Star Wars and superheroes to puzzles and Legos.

Christopher spent his career working as a security guard and took great pride in his work. He especially cherished his time at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona, where he built meaningful connections and found purpose in what he did.

Christopher will be remembered for his intelligence, his unique personality, and the deep love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
