Clark G. Dunlap, 86, of Las Cruces died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007. He was born Feb. 14, 1921 in Iowa City, Iowa to John and Fanny Dunlap. Clark was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp where he served his country honorably during WW II. While in the service he was awarded the American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and the WW II Victory Medal. He was also retired after many years of faithful service from Chance Vought Aircraft Inc. Mr. Dunlap will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Winnifred Dunlap of the family home; daughters Sandra Craddock and Wade of Las Cruces, Jane Young and Seppo Penttila of Clinton, TN and Christina Chandler of Carrollton, TX; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Clark was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers George and Richard. Memorial Services to celebrate his life will be on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 1:00 PM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with Fr. Scott Ruthven officiating. The US Army will provide military honors.
