Cynthia Davis, 78, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 14, 1947, in Artesia, New Mexico, to Henry and Evelyn Lamb.
For 53 years, Cynthia made her home in Las Cruces, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and compassion. Known for her warm heart, wit, and caring nature, she devoted her life to caring for others — especially children. Whether through her work, friendships, or family, Cynthia touched countless lives with her kindness and ability to make everyone feel seen and loved.
She is survived by her devoted husband, George Davis; her daughters, Megan Davis and Michelle (Jimmy) Morgan; and her three granddaughters, Siddalee, Emma, and Sophie Morgan. She also leaves behind her sister, Deb Ervin, and brother, Bill (Annamarie) Lamb. Cynthia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Henry and Evelyn Lamb and brother-in-law, Chester Ervin.
Cynthia’s legacy of love, humor, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family and friends will forever remember her gentle spirit and the joy she brought to every room she entered.
Per Cynthia’s wishes, no formal service will be held — her family finds comfort in knowing she will be remembered in the laughter, love, and memories she leaves behind.
