Dan Male

Dan J Male, aged 78, passed away on January 31, 2026, in Las Cruces, NM. Born on September 22, 1947 in North Little Rock, AR to Charles and Dorothy Male.

Dan honorably served in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970. After his military service, he earned a degree at Illinois State University. He then embarked on a successful career at Caterpillar, where he worked for 35 years until his retirement in 2002.

He is survived by his loving spouse of 47 years, Susan Male; sons, Steve (Renee) Hoover, Scott (Laura) Hoover; brother, Ed (Lori) Male; and nephew, Brian Male.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Male; brother, Jim Male; and grandson, Bret Hoover.

Contributions may be made in Dan’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), an organization that was close to his heart.
