Dennis Orla McQuade

Dennis Orla McQuade, age 86, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away on June 13, 2026. Born on December 16, 1939, Dennis was a dedicated locomotive engineer with Union Pacific, a career that spanned many years and showcased his commitment to the rail industry.

He is preceded in death by his wife Charmaine McQuade, his father, Orla Paskill McQuade, and his mother, Fern Boyd and stepfather Chester Boyd. He leaves behind his son, Clay McQuade, and his daughter, Andrea Holliday and stepdaughter Misti Blue. as well as his daughter-in-law, Barbara McQuade, and son-in-laws, Tye Holliday and Victor Martinez. Dennis's family will remember him as a devoted father and a loyal friend, cherished for his warmth and kindness.

Dennis will be remembered fondly by his loved ones, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched during his time with us. Including his many grandchildren 10, and 6 great grandchildren.

Rosary to be held at 6:00 pm June 18, 2026 at Getz Funeral Home. Mass will be held June 19, 2026 at 10:00 am Holy Cross Catholic Church.
