Dolores L. 'Dolly' Anderson

Dolores "Dolly" Lerma Anderson born in Las Cruces, NM on December 5, 1940 passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 in her home with her loving family by her side after a courageous four year battle with breast cancer. She had an extremely strong spirit with a great love for life, family and her pets. She endured much but always managed to have a smile on her face. She was an inspiration to all who cared for her during her illness and she made new friends wherever she went. She could talk for hours on any subject and her love of reading made her very well versed. She had a passion for everything colorful and artistic including painting, crafting, sewing, decorating and floral arranging. She created many, many beautiful things. Dolores had a deep faith in God. She said that Jesus sustained her and that she borrowed strength from him and that is how she could be so courageous on her journey until God called her home. She will be greatly missed by her husband Larry of 50 years, her three daughters Georgia (Jay) of Bismarck, ND Monica (Roberta) of El Paso, TX and Lisa (Sean) of, Bismarck, ND. Her Grandchildren, Nic (Sarah) of Bismarck, ND Jennifer (Nick) of St. Petersburg, FL and Shane of Bismarck, she was also blessed with her Great Grandson Michael of Bismarck, ND.
