Donna K Roberts

Donna Kay Roberts of Las Cruces, NM passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at age 73, in her home surrounded by her two loving daughters. Donna was born September 27, 1952 in Portales, NM where she raised her family with her late husband Wayland Lovorn. Later in life she moved to Las Cruces, NM where she graduated with her Master’s degree with honors from New Mexico State University. She retired from Las Cruces Public Schools from her career as an Educational Diagnostician in 2017. She loved spending family time with her daughters and grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her mother Bobbie Roberts, daughters Anise (Edward) Barone and Ashley (Greg) Bettmann. She is also survived by her brother Billy (Beverly) Roberts and her loving grandchildren Michael, Kathryn, Jaeden, Isabella and Luke, greatgrandchild Saylor.

Proceeded in death by her father Clyde Roberts and brother Aaron Roberts.

A private grave side will be held in Portales.
