Fay S. Howard

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend. Fay Stage Howard,62, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, entered eternal life on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She enjoyed painting, traveling and the theatre arts, but most of all, lived to spend time with her family and grandchildren. As a military wife, she spent her early years of marriage taking care of her four children before completing her degree at New Mexico State University. After receiving her degree from NMSU, she went to work at White Sands Missile Range where she focused and contributed to various aspects of training evaluation for the US military. She lived a life of determination, strength and compassion and will be missed dearly by her family and those that knew her. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bruce Howard, sons, Steve Howard of Las Cruces, NM, Ren Howard and spouse Brandi Anton of Phoenix, AZ, Bradd Howard of Albuquerque, NM, daughter, Kristina Howard and spouse Joe Briones of Plano, TX, grandchildren, Shanna, Raymond, Zoe, Casey and Brandon, mother, Rita Stage of Montour Falls, NY, sisters, Cathy Brey and spouse Rocky of Newark, NY and Margie Wellman and spouse Craig of Ithaca, NY as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
