Frances R. Nichols

Frances R. Nichols went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 22, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Palos, Alabama on February 16, 1929, to Wheeler and Lillie Bates. Frances had been a Las Cruces resident since 1964. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Las Cruces. Frances loved people and enjoyed working at JC Penny and Wal-mart during her lifetime. Her smile and sweet disposition will be missed by all who knew her. Frances is survived by two daughters, Pamela Reed and her husband, Ed of Casper, Wyoming, and Paula Corder and her husband, Jack of Albuquerque, NM, and a sister, Sandra Morris and her husband, Frankie, of Gardendale, AL. also surviving Frances are her grandchildren, Vanessa Harris, Cody and Colter Teed. She also has one great granddaughter, Aryn. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Clayton Nichols and a grandson, Clayton Corder. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 29, 2011 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church of Las Cruces. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
