Gary M. Samaniego

Gary M. Samaniego, 43, of Cypress, TX died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006. He was born Feb. 26, 1963 in Las Cruces, NM to Luis Samaniego and Mary Chavez. Gary had been a Captain with International Boat Rentals in Texas. He will be deeply missed by all his many family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Wendy Samaniego and their children Reese, Daniel, Katie and Emily all of the family home; mother Mary Chavez; father Luis Samaniego and wife Lydia; brothers and sister Louis, Kenny and Debbie Samaniego; maternal grandparents Julian and Lupe Chavez; nephews Travis and Skyler and by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM on Friday, Dec. 29, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7:00 PM. His funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006 at Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church in Dona Ana, NM with Fr. Narcisco Rivera officiating.
