Gerald Agrey Thatcher

Gerald Thatcher, 71, of Las Cruces, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012. Ger as he was fondly known was born Aug. 22, 1940 in Exeland, Wisconsin to Richard and Irene Agrey. He had been the owner, editor and writer for White Mountain Publishing Co. Ger was the author of four books, and wrote numerous articles for various magazines and newspapers. He was avid reader, enjoyed music, the outdoors, yoga and meditation. Mr. Thatcher will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his son Matthew Agrey, mother Irene Thatcher, sister Kay Smith (Merl), brothers Scott Thatcher and wife Joyce and Brian Thatcher and wife Cynthia and by other extended family members and many friends. At his request cremation will take place and his remains will be laid to rest at Bryan, Texas at a later date. PDF Printable Version
