Geraldine Rosales

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine Rosales, lovingly known as Gerri or Honey, at the age of 57. She departed from us peacefully at her home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on June 11, 2026. Gerri was the daughter of Gonzalo Jr. and Beatrice Rosales, born on August 9, 1968, in Memorial General Hospital in Las Cruces. Gerri lived her life with unwavering love for her family and a deep passion for nurturing those around her.

Geraldine is survived by her devoted life partner of over 40 years, Gloria Snow, and her beloved children, Elizabeth Snow and Cornelio Carrillo. Her legacy also includes her cherished grandchildren: Jasmine Balderas and her husband Jared, Ashley Shopteese and her husband Cheegwah, and Stephanie Ybarra. Gerri found immense joy in her great-grandchildren: Myra, Hope, Corvis, Isaiah, Yuriah, and Elijah, who brought light and laughter into her life. Her siblings, Nick Rosales (wife Carla) and sister Rebecca J. Cisneros (husband Jacob). She leaves behind an extended family of nieces and nephews: Ashley Rivera (husband - Greg), Alejandra H. Gonzalez, Nikki Rosales, Reanna Rosales, Andrea B. Rosales, Nicholas A. Rosales, Isaiah M. Rosales & Domonique N. Rosales, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Gerri had a diverse array of interests that included caring for her beloved plants, cooking delicious meals for her family, watching 49ers football, reveling in the excitement of Halloween, enjoying old horror movies, and learning about history through The History Channel. Her vibrant spirit and nurturing nature made a profound impact on everyone she met.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her stepson, Steven Carrillo, who passed away on June 26, 2023. The love and devotion she had for her family will forever be remembered.

A celebration of Gerri's life will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Getz Funeral Home located at 1410 E Bowman Ave. Families and friends will gather from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Rosary from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. A memorial service will honor her life from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Following the services, a reception will take place at Beverly Hills Hall, 150 N. Hermosa, Las Cruces, NM, starting at 5:00 PM.

As we reflect on the beautiful life of Geraldine Rosales, let us celebrate her boundless love and the memories we hold dear. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
