Harriet Christian died at the age of 88 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM early Wednesday morning, May 25. She was born Harriet Alice Locke in Imperial, CA on May 26, 1916 to Neil Milice Locke and Luetta Clarrisa Seal Locke. Harriet loved to travel all over the world with her husband and dearest friend of 64 years, Leo Martin Christian. She was an active member of the Las Cruces Floral Design Guild and Desert Daubers Garden Club, frequently winning awards for her creative floral designs at the Southern New Mexico State Fair.
