Herlinda Granado

Our mother Herlinda "Linda" Granado lost her battle with cancer at the age of 56 on November 3, 2015 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Linda was born on May 7, 1959 in El Paso, TX and attended Jefferson High School. She worked for several years as an insurance adjuster for Allstate Insurance and Farm Bureau Insurance companies. Linda had a passion for sewing and loved gardening. She made the best tacos and fried donuts. She loved bright colors and has asked that we celebrate her death and "no dark clothes" be worn at her funeral. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Leandro and Herlinda Real Y Vasquez and her sister Irma De La Torre. She is survived by her children Dianna Granado, Christopher Granado, Adam Granado, daughter-in-law Brandi Cruse, and several grandchildren, all of Las Cruces. A visitation will begin at 5pm on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 and a Prayer Vigil will follow immediately after at Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces. A funeral Liturgy will take place at Sacred Heart Church in El Paso, TX at 9am on Wednesday November 11, 2015 with burial to follow at Mr. Carmel Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
