Hope Ani Atencio, 14 of Anthony, New Mexico passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in El Paso, Texas. She was born September 30, 1995 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Hope Ani was a student and a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her mother Jessica Atencio; Stepfather, Juan Alvarez; a brother Juan Alvarez III of Anthony, NM; her maternal grandmother, Espi Atencio of Anthony, NM and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Rocky Atencio. The Mass of the Resurrection was held on Friday April 23, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Anthony, NM. The Rite of Committal and burial followed at the Anthony Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
