Jessica Ruth Caroe, 26, died on May 22, 2012. Jessica was the daughter of Dr. Alan Caroe and Karen Walker Caroe of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Jessica was born December 30, 1985. She was homeschooled throughout her primary and secondary years. Jessica went on to Georgetown University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 2006. Following internships with US Senator Rick Santorum and with the United States Justice Department, Jessica taught elementary school with Teach for America in Houston, Texas. Jessica rose to become Development Director for YES Prep Public Schools, a charter system for underprivileged students in Houston. Jessica was also a member of Christ the King Church in Houston. At the time of her death, Jessica had completed the first year of the MBA program at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She had accepted a position with Georgia Pacific Corporation in Atlanta, GA. Jessica died in a traffic accident alongside her fianc
