Jesus Cuevas

Jesus Luis Cuevas, born on October 30, 1953, in Juarez, Mexico, and a beloved resident of Vado, NM, passed away on August 7, 2025. He was cherished by many and leaves behind his devoted spouse, Rosa Cuevas, along with his children: Roberto, Chuy, Angel, Rafa, Luis, Iserael, and daughters Rosa Maldonado, Norma Mayorga, Hilda, and Maybel Hernandez. His family was his pride, as he invested love, laughter, and countless memorable moments into their lives.

Though he carried the weight of a humble education, Jesus possessed wisdom that shone brighter than any degree. A dedicated construction worker, he built not only structures but lasting relationships through teamwork and camaraderie. He embraced life with a passion for sports; a baseball coach and player, he reveled in the spirit of the game, while his love for boxing showcased his fierce determination and spirit.

Jesus's heart was warmed by the thrill of the casino, where chance and fortune intertwined. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Soccer Americanos, he passionately discussed plays and strategies with friends and family alike. His laughter often echoed with stories shared over plates of beans, each meal bringing his loved ones closer.

His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he inspired, reminding us all to embrace life's joys and the camaraderie found in community and family. Jesus Luis Cuevas will be dearly missed, but fondly remembered for the love he bestowed upon those around him.
