Jesus P Sambrano

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother Jesus P. Sambrano. He passed away on Monday June 27th 2011 at the age of 86. He was born on January 26th 1926 in Lordsburg, NM. During World War II, Jesus served in the Army and was stationed in the Philippines and Korea. After his honorable discharge he returned to Lordsburg and married Dora E. Sambrano his wife and loving companion of 65 years, who survives him and resides in their Las Cruces home. Jesus is also survived by their 6 children: Irene Villegas (Bobby), Julie Almanzar, Elizabeth Rivera, Sammy Sambrano and his wife JoAnn, Ronnie Sambrano and his wife Josie, and Daniel Sambrano and his wife Melissa. Throughout his lifetime, Jesus witnessed his family expand to 5 generations. This includes 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Catarino and Sofia Sambrano, his siblings Santiago, Rosario and Louisa and his granddaughter Andrea Almanzar. Private services will be held at a later date in Lordsburg, NM.
