Joan C. Rutherford

Joan C. Rutherford passed away peacefully on February 15, 2018. The daughter of Joseph and Johanna Rohan, Joan was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on April 29, 1926. Joan was the middle child with brother Thomas, and sisters Ellen, Mary, and Margaret. Joan had a lifelong love of art. After Mount Mary University she worked as an advertising illustrator and owned a photography business in Pueblo, Colorado where she lived for many years. Joan was a talented artist who enjoyed sketching and painting her whole life. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Henry Rutherford. Joan was a loving mother to Michael, Robert, Kathleen, Ann, Thomas, and William. She was a grandmother to Scott, Shane, John, Elizabeth, Mathew, Liam, and 9 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Liturgy for Joan will be held at 11:00am on Monday 26th, 2018 at St Genevieve's Catholic Church, located at 100 S Espina St, Las Cruces, NM 88001. Funeral Mass Information
