John Flenniken

John Steven Flenniken, 70, of Las Cruces, NM passed away peacefully at his home on January 1, 2025. He was born to June and Bill Flenniken on February 23, 1954, in Flint, Michigan. 

 Relocating to New Mexico at the age of 15, he graduated Alamogordo High School in 1972. His career took place at NASA's Space Network at the White Sands Complex for 35 rewarding years, and he spent the rest of his life loving the beauty of New Mexico. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, his daughter Lauren, his sister Jan (& husband Bill), his brothers Don (& wife Sandy), Brad, and Matt. 

 In lieu of flowers, our family requests donations to the American Heart Association. There will be a celebration of life in March; details to be announced.
