Judy Marlene Lovelace passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born February 20, 1948, Judy called Clinton, Oklahoma home, and remained as she would proudly say, “an Okie through and through.”

Judy was a people person in every sense of the word. She loved being around others, staying busy, going places, and doing things. Sitting still simply wasn’t much her style. She brought an energy with her wherever she went and made connections easily with the people she met along the way.

And then there was Christmas.

Judy absolutely loved decorating for Christmas, and she didn’t believe in doing it halfway. Her husband loved to tease that from Thanksgiving until Christmas, if you stood still in their house for more than 30 seconds, Judy was liable to wrap you in ribbon and put a bow on your head. Christmas in Judy’s home wasn’t just a holiday—it was an event.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Bauer, and her grandchildren, Casey, Jeremy, Michael, and Lily, along with family, friends, and the many people whose lives crossed paths with hers over the years.

The family will remember Judy for her love of people, her constant motion, her Oklahoma roots, her enormous Christmas spirit, and a lifetime of memories that cannot possibly be summed up in a few paragraphs.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Judy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and organization whose mission held special meaning for her and her family.

And somewhere, we have to believe, Christmas just got a few more lights, a little mor ribbon, and at least one perfectly placed bow.
