Kevin Arthur Alvillar

Kevin was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico on April 30, 1975. He passed into eternity May 28, 2025. From his early childhood, Kevin enjoyed outdoor activities. An energetic boy he played sports including, baseball, soccer, BMX racing, basketball and ran track. With his parents he road dirt bikes, went camping, hiking, fishing, and skiing. As an adult he continued to engage in soccer, fishing, and dirt biking. He carried this strength and enthusiasm into adulthood and his profession as a roofer. He could work harder and longer than most and carry more up a ladder than anyone else.

Kevin was raised as a Christian and 2 years ago rededicated his life to his Savior Jesus Christ. He was trying to live for his savior as best as he could. He traveled often with his roofing business and would attend church in various communities. He enjoyed lively worship and preaching that encouraged and taught the Bible.

Kevin is survived by his father and mother, Arthur, and Janice Alvillar, his three children, Josephine Dagmar Garcia (Christian), Warren Thomas Alvillar (Chanel), Lillian Mae Alvillar (Anthony) and grandson, James Arthur Marshall, a large extended family, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on June 21, 2025, at 10am at New Covenant Fellowship, 20 Holy Cross Road, Mesilla Park.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation of any amount to New Covenant Fellowship or Lighthouse Community Church. Kevin considered both churches his church home.
