Mara Santos Barraza passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the age of 87 in El Paso, Texas. She was born on November 1, 1927 to Jos and Anastasia N&uacuteez Ojeda in Santa Mara del Oro, Durango Mxico. She is preceded in death by her husband Gustavo Len Barraza, and her sisters Inz N&uacuteez Cazares and Mara N&uacuteez. She is survived by her brothers Antonio N&uacuteez (wife Margarita N&uacuteez) and Jes&uacutes N&uacuteez (wife Ana N&uacuteez), and her two sisters Ramona and Cesara N&uacuteez. Mara Santos is survived by her three children Mary Brockett, Ana Spencer (husband Ray Spencer) and Gustavo Barraza (wife Mary Barraza) and her eight grandchildren: Karly and Kara Brockett; Lucas Spencer and Sarah Spencer Vsquez; Alexyia Barraza Paige, and Acacia, Gustav and Demitri Barraza, and great-grandson Kellan Vsquez as well as numerous nieces and nephews Viewing for the family will be on Monday April 20, 2015 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Getz Funeral Home on the corner of Solano and Bowman Ave. in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
